QuickSilver Aam History Copyright © 2012-2017 Richard Christman Please send bugs to qsaam@quicksilvermail.net IMPORTANT: This program REQUIRES QSL v1.1.1 or higher. 2017-07-21 v0.9b11 1) Fixed 'Unable to load libeay32.dll' bug that affected some systems. 2017-04-10 v0.9b10 1) The previous version of QSA was determined to have false positives for viruses present. These false positives were traced to an exe compressor, UPX, that I have always used. The reports were false, It is a safe program but I will discontinue it's use to avoid user concern in the future. 2017-04-05 v0.9b09 1) Fixed 'assertion failed' when PGP key isn't available for a given nym. 2) Removed message telling the user that TOR port is 9050. TOR developers CHANGED the port. Forget testing it. 3) Updated Indy Internet Controls to v10.5363 required for support of new OpenSSL version with SSL v2 and v3 are removed completely. 4) Updated OpenSSL to version v1.0.2k. 5) Updated gnupg to version v1.4.21. 6) Security Fix: A bug in the way QSA replies are imported to QSL, deleted the cutmarks (~~) line and lines below that down to but not including the last line of note text--if any. Only QSA users were affected. 2014-12-15 v0.9b08 1) Added a decrypt dialog open automatically when an encryppted message is opened in an individual message window. 2) Fixed PGP signature report to eliminate "\xe2\x80\x9c" and "\xe2\x80\x9d" from the "Good signature" line. 3) Changed SSL component to use TLS in all connections and not use SSL v1 and v2 to avoid the POODLE exploit. 4) Updated openssl to 1.0.1i 2014-05-01 v0.9b07.1 1) The only change from 0.9b07 is openssl to 1.0.1g for heartbleed. The program itself still has the version 0.9b07. If you update QSL 1.0.6, there's no need to update QSA. 2013-03-08 v0.9b07 1) Fixed a problem with gpg and foreign languages not working with QSA. 2) Updated OpenSSL to 1.0.1d 3) Fixed failed assertion on decrypting initial response from mixnym.net. 2013-01-27 v0.9b06 1) Added 'Compose new message' to Tools/Messages menu. 2) Added support for 'Fewer headers'. Like when replying to an email, most headers are removed from the message. This has the benefit of less scrolling required to read the message after decryption. 3) Fixed a problem of the message being lost if you cancel out of the Decryption Passphrase Dialog. 4) Fixed tray icon hint to display the correct number of messages downloaded while minimized. 2012-10-15 v0.9b05 1) Fixed various times when the program stopped for errors which it is desired NOT to stop. 2) Fixed program not stopping on errors it is desired it stop for. 3) Fixed access violation when closing in Secure Mode. 2012-09-12 v0.9b04 1) Fixed replying via the separate message window. 2) Fixed config message generation to allow the user to select a template for it. 2012-07-12 v0.9b03 1) Added support for piping message to QSL. 2) Brightened the system tray icon. 3) Changed 'Copy' button caption to 'Reply'. 4) Added support for generating nym config messages. That is to say, QSA can generate the nym creation request required by nymservers. Is-not-my.name, mixnym.net, and nym.mixmin.net have all been tested and working. Because of dizum.nl being down, I was unable to test with that. QSA can't create nyms on nymph.paranoici.org because it doesn't support ESUB or HSUB currently. However, if you have a nym at that nymserver created by another nym client, you can use QSA to retrieve those messages. 5) Fixed a decryption problem with enigmail messages. 2010-04-23 v0.9b02.1 This update is for everyone. 1) I've updated the program support libraries/programs to current. That is: gpg.exe, libeay32.dll, ssleay32.dll. 2012-01-10 v0.9b02 1) Fixed AV when starting minimized from account startup folder. 2) Added new system tray icons for mail waiting and error condition. 3) Fixed the 'File/Open/Command prompt' to open the program in it's home directory. 4) Added 'Save database' to file menu. 2011-12-25 v0.9b01 1) Initial beta release
